2)  Medication assisted treatment for opioid dependence with buprenorphine/naloxone.

3)  Relapse prevention in alcohol dependence using disulfiram, naltrexone or acamprosate.

4)  Inpatient psychiatric treatment: We have admitting privileges at Cypress Creek Hospital and Kingwood Pines Hospital, in the event of emergency treatment.

5)  Partial hospitalization program: We provide psychiatric services with a comprehensive team approach at Cypress Creek and Kingwood Pines hospital, 5 days a week, for up to 20 hours per week for clients who do not need inpatient treatment, but are too acute to be seen in just an office based setting.

Medication Management

A systematic process of Medication Management is followed at CHA  Behavioral Healthcare, which assists in the identification and prioritization of medication-related problems. Our Medication Management is completely in accordance with all legal requirements and professional guidelines. Our Medication Management includes five core principles:

Depression

Depression treatment at CHA Behavioral Healthcare, can help you handle your depression and move forward with a more positive approach to your life. Bipolar Disorder (Manic Depression)

Bipolar disorder can be treated effectively. However, there is always a chance it will reoccur. That is why at CHA Behavioral Healthcare we encourage our patients to practice ongoing awareness. We will always be available should they need any further help. The major goals of treatment are to:

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

Once diagnosed with PTSD, there are various treatments available. Treatment will depend on the seriousness of the condition and will be discussed. Outpatient, day patient or inpatient care is available.

Substance Abuse and Dependence

Substance abuse and substance dependence both refer to mal-adaptive patterns of substance use that leads to significant impairment or distress. In addition, while continuous heavy substance dependence can lead to a greater risk of physical illness and may also cause severe problems, specifically from a social perspective. We understand embarking upon recovery can be an emotionally turbulent time for you. Panic Disorder

Panic disorder is an anxiety disorder characterized by recurring and regular panic attacks. There are two main forms of treatment for panic disorder: therapy and/or medication. CHA Behavioral Healthcare has been helping to treat anxiety disorders and people who experience attacks. The type and length of panic attacks treatment is dependent on each individual's specific circumstances and the severity and complexity of their condition. Some patients are treated as outpatients, others require a more structured treatment approach as inpatient for the duration of their panic attacks treatment.

Inpatient Treatment

CHA Behavioral Healthcare provides inpatient care for a range of acute mental health conditions. CHA patients who require a residential inpatient stay will be able to take advantage of CHA Behavioral Healthcare's psychological expertise and record for delivering positive and measurable outcomes while following an integrated care pathway.
