4)  Inpatient psychiatric treatment: We have admitting privileges at Cypress Creek Hospital and Kingwood Pines Hospital, in the event of emergency treatment.

5)  Partial hospitalization program: We provide psychiatric services with a comprehensive team approach at Cypress Creek and Kingwood Pines hospital, 5 days a week, for up to 20 hours per week for clients who do not need inpatient treatment, but are too acute to be seen in just an office based setting.

Medication Management

A systematic process of Medication Management is followed at CHA  Behavioral Healthcare, which assists in the identification and prioritization of medication-related problems. Our Medication Management is completely in accordance with all legal requirements and professional guidelines. Our Medication Management includes five core principles:

Depression

Bipolar Disorder (Manic Depression)

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

Substance Abuse and Dependence

Substance abuse and substance dependence both refer to mal-adaptive patterns of substance use that leads to significant impairment or distress. In addition, while continuous heavy substance dependence can lead to a greater risk of physical illness and may also cause severe problems, specifically from a social perspective.
